Our Story

Hello, we are Carolyn and Tom West and we moved to Green Valley in 1990.  We were seeking a peaceful country retreat, within driving distance of the Bay Area.  When we purchased the 'farm' it was a horse farm, complete with a barn, riding area, stables and pasture area for horses.  In 1995, we decided to pursue our dream of winemaking.  We planted all the grapes on the Estate and carefully researched what local vines would succeed.  Tom was a natural winemaker and honed his viticulture skills at Napa Community College.  In 2006, we released our first commercial wine.  Winemaking is about family, love, food and appreciation for the earth.  We hope you love our wines as much we enjoy making them.  Enjoy and we look forward to meeting you.
